Perry
Soldwedel
Perry
has been with CEC since August, 2004. Prior to work with CEC, he
served in a variety of job roles for 34 years in Illinois public
education. Those roles included: elementary teacher, assistant middle
school principal, elementary principal, director of curriculum,
assistant superintendent, and superintendent. His district was affiliated
with CEC since 1988.
Perry
has participated in certification programs with Jim Shipley and
Associates, the American Society for Quality, and PQ Systems. He
is a baldrige examiner and has attended institutes with Professional
Learning Communities and Effective Schools . In addition, he has
served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Illinois teaching
Quality Improvement in Educational Settings.
Perry
serves currently as CEC's Director of Continuous Improvement. In
that capacity he facilitates the Compact for Quality and serves
as a coach/trainer with districts and schools around the continuous
improvement framework and processes. He also coordinates System
Assessment (Critical Friends) visits.
