Kimberly
Collier
Kimberly
Collier has been a part of the CEC team for five years. She started
her teaching career in Harvey Public School District 152. There
she taught Preschool, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades until she was
released to work with the Consortium for Educational Change.
In
her time with CEC, Kimberly has played many roles. She acted as an
Educator in Residence (EIR) with the Illinois State Board. As an
EIR, Kimberly supported schools' development of school improvement
plans. Currently Kimberly is a co-trainer for the Ohio Appalachian
Educators Institute, and works with many districts and schools to
deliver CEC's School and District Leadership training. As facilitator
of the South Suburban Compact, Kimberly supports the districts implementation
of a grant from the G.E. Foundation.
Kim
seves as CEC's Director of Collaborative Culture. Kimberly is trained
to deliver and coach many programs that support schools' and districts'
ability to change the school culture. The programs include District
and School Leadership Training, Covey, Difficult Conversations,
and ETS' teacher mentor training. Kimberly also supports schools
in their implementation of teacher mentoring programs, data analysis,
and school improvement planning.
