Lisa will return for a second follow-up session on Wednesday, October 8th in Central Illinois and Thursday, October 9th at National-Louis University in Lisle, Illinois.

She will also return in 2009 for a third follow-up session on Wednesday January 14th and Thursday, January 15th, again in Central Illinois and the Chicago-land area. 

Lisa’s Total Instructional Alignment presentation at the CEC Conference this year will be followed by two additional days of training in Central Illinois and the Chicago-land area.  Lisa will assist those who are interested in a deeper alignment of standards, curriculum, assessment and instruction. The October and January follow-up dates will provide participants with an in-depth, hands-on experience with the TIA tools and processes as applied to the Illinois State Standards for learning. Sessions will include standards-based instructional practice, higher level thinking and questioning strategies, instructional analysis of the standards for learning and effective assessment for informed instruction. Participants are encouraged to join together as a school-wide or district-wide team to maximize the impact on student learning.
